Jordan Pines is located just 10 miles up Big Cottonwood Canyon in Salt Lake County, Utah. It has a gorgeous array of dense pine trees and open fields to fit all of your photography needs! The leaves start to turn in preparation for fall early in the year due to its high elevation. Be aware that dogs are not allowed at Jordan Pines. There's no need to hike to find good locations! There are plenty near the parking lot.
Tips From Other Creatives In The Tribe
If you're shooting in the evening during the warm months, you might want to bring some bug spray with you. The best time to shoot is 2 hours before sunset since the sun goes down quickly behind the mountain.
